REX has announced a program aimed at providing aide for residents displaced by the recent wildfires in Southern and Northern California. REX is offering to rebate the entirety of their commission to displaced residents who need to buy a new home. Normally, REX collects 2.5% – 3% of the home’s sales price in commission, as the buyer’s agent, and rebates half to the buyer. In this case, that entire commission will instead be given to the buyer in the form of a check two-days before closing on their new home.

“We are heartbroken to see the devastation of the recent wildfires in California,” said REX CEO Jack Ryan. “While we know that the homes lost will never truly be replaced, we hope that we can do our part to aid victims in returning to some type of normalcy.”

Every resident that chooses to participate in the relief program will receive full representation from a licensed REX agent at no cost. There is also no limit on the size of the commission rebate that customers will receive, as it will solely be based on the purchase price of the home.

Displaced residents who would like more information about this rebate can contact REX directly at (855) 342-4739.
